As many will have noticed, at the end of each candidate pack reads the statement ‘we will donate £1 to our charity of the year for every Equal Opportunities form we get back’.
This year, the NorthCare Charity has been selected as Osborne Thomas’ chosen charity.
The NorthCare Charity helps the Northern Care Alliance (NCA) NHS Foundation Trust to deliver care within the areas of Bury, Oldham, Rochdale and Salford by funding innovative equipment, education, research and well-being activities.
We’re particularly happy to be supporting the NorthCare Charity given its close ties to one of our staff members, with the charity and partnered NHS Trust’s amazing work visible to us all.
Accordingly, we will be specifying that all Osborne Thomas donations be given to the Manchester Centre for Clinical Neurosciences (MCCN). The MCCN is based in Salford Royal and as the leading unit for brain and spine operations in the UK, the MCCN provides constant care to those affected by related disorders/injuries.
