As project officer you will be responsible for delivering a time-limited intensive recovery plan for the council’s Right to Buy service and to support neighbourhood officers in the management of leasehold home ownership and freehold occupancy issues. The post-holder will also work alongside the Project Manager (Service Charges) as required.
The main purpose of the role will be to administer right to buy enquires, applications and associated activities to deliver an efficient and customer-focused right to buy service. To be subject matter experts in this service area and to assist the council with ongoing service reviews to enable the function to integrate into new directorates. To review, investigate and process applications in accordance with statutory regulations and timescales and to provide advice and support to applicants wishing to buy.
