Major Programmes Analyst

The City of London Corporation has embarked upon a series of complex, high profile major capital programmes that will result in the acquisition, development and management of significant new assets. A number of these programmes are interdependent both in terms of physical delivery but also in terms of the impact on financial and procurement activities in the Corporation.

The City Surveyor and Director of Major Programmes have identified the need for a programme management function (PMO) to provide a consistent high standard of programme and financial reporting, procurement practices and risk assurance in order to deliver the programmes coherently, on time and within budget as befits the vision, aims and ethos of the City of London Corporation.

The postholder will be a part of a small team responsible for providing high quality PMO analyst functions across 4 Major Capital Programmes which are:

  • Consolidation of the City of London’s Wholesale Markets
  • The Creation of a New Museum of London at West Smithfield
  • The redevelopment of the City’s Fleet Street Estate to provide a new HMCTS and City of London Police facility
  • The Centre for Music

Key activities of this role will include the project management of workstreams within programmes, creation and maintenance of risk registers, programme plans, dependency mapping, analysis and tracking programme deliverables, preparation of reports, ensuring improvement to programme processes are effectively implemented.
