A key role in the Department’s senior management team and one of a small team of Property Directors with overall collective responsibility for the direction, strategy, and control of the Department.
The Major Disposals Director will be responsible for the disposal of the Smithfield and Billingsgate sites, as well as New Spitalfields should a decision be made to move this market, ensuring capital receipts are maximised to support the Markets Co-location Programme and deliver on other corporate priorities such as Destination City and new housing for London. The Major Disposals Director will represent City Surveyors in the establishment of a holistic vision and delivery plan for the wider Smithfield area of change.
