In this role you will provide strategic leadership, management and be accountable for the provision of the Service, ensuring that it continually meets the expectations and requirements of the business and all relevant legislation. To ensure the Service is developed within budgets, ensuring agreed standards of outputs are achieved and the service provided is responsive and of high quality. To develop and implement strategies, policies, and work practices to support an efficient and effective service that complies with corporate priorities, legal requirements, and commercial aspirations.
You will also report to the Directors’ Board, attend committee meetings as required, and implement decisions reached. To represent and promote the Council at local, regional, and national level working with other bodies to identify and adopt innovation and best practice. To deputise for the Director/ Assistant Director as required.
