This role reporting to a deputizing for the Director of Finance, Procurement & Audit is a key position predominantly overseeing the development of the Council’s Medium Term Financial Strategy. It is essential that the post holder have senior level experience in a Local Authority environment in collating the Medium-Term Financial Strategy report and leading the organisation through a Budget Setting process including engaging with Members and senior leadership across the organisation.
The role will be responsible for managing business partner support for the Resources and Chief Executive Directorates.
Experience in managing staff is also essential for this role.
Previous local government experience is essential.
