You will be responsible for supporting project managers across the local authority, delivering capital funded projects to provide assurance to the local authority’s leadership that the required discipline, governance and rigour is in place to enable successful delivery.
As part of this you will lead a team of programme and project managers to provide high quality and professional resources to deliver projects and programmes across the organisation, as well as working with project managers managed within services.
You will identify interdependencies, risks and issues across the portfolio and will seek to understand and address them with the Assistant Director of Programmes and Change, working closely with colleagues.
