Our local council client is seeking an interim Head of Building Control for 3-6 months. They require someone with a minimum of 3 years’ experience of managing a Building Control Service with awareness of Local Government Building Control service functions. In this role you will be expected to lead, motivate, and support Building Control team colleagues, setting the direction for the service, and provide professional advice and guidance to key stakeholders including senior management on matters impacting upon the Council and the service. You will also have expert knowledge of the Building Regulations 2010 and the associated technical requirements and legislation pertaining to Building Control functions.
