Interim Commissioning Programme Manager

As Commissioning Programme Manager, you will lead on programmes and projects related to commissioning of Social Care services in the local council which will include potential management of portfolios including:

– Integration and partnerships – actively working with partners, re-designing systems where necessary, to develop cross service and/ or organisational solutions, looking to jointly commission where necessary.

– Prevention & Personalisation – demand management – installing prevention and personalisation as a necessary consideration in all services that are designed and commissioned with outcome measures evidencing effectiveness. Developing the approach to micro commissioning as necessary to support outcomes required.

– Younger People – commissioning of children’s services across areas including children’s placements services; commissioned support to younger people in transition. SEND will be part of this and be considered in relation with the Disabilities portfolio.
