The Council aspires to become a data-centric organisation, where data is an asset that helps drive innovation, transformation and corporate priorities.

The data architect design and builds the overall data architecture or series of architectures, owning the implementation and helping RBKC create business and user value from data. The role makes a significant contribution to RBKC’s data strategy and leads significant data projects and programmes of work. This role works closely with the Enterprise Architect and the DD&T architecture community of roles and acts as the organisation’s champion for data architecture providing advice and guidance on data structures, ensuring a high-quality user-experience for both staff and residents which includes availability, usability, usefulness and quality of information.  The role represents the Council at cross-sector and cross-government meetings about data.
