The Assistant Director of Oversight & Governance is responsible for establishing the metrics, policies, standards, procedures and methods necessary for DD&T to deliver to required expectations. This function provides assurance, oversight and governance to the DD&T organisation, and importantly, tracking and demonstrating the performance and value of technology, digital and data to the organisation.
The role represents the interests of DD&T to Senior Council Leadership and External Bodies in all matters relating to Risk, Audit, Assurance, BC Planning, and Bi Borough Agreements.
This role directs the definition, implementation and monitoring of the DD&T governance framework to meet the IC, Cyber, and Supplier Management obligations and is primarily responsible for providing assurance to the Council that DD&T can deliver its obligations to the agreed standards of cost, value, benefits, compliance, opportunities and risks.
The role owns and oversees demand and capacity management, cost optimisation, resource planning and utilisation, benefits tracking, vendor, risk, and contract management in addition to others,
